After you unbox your shiny new console, do you keep or throw away the box it came in?
I've always kept my boxes starting with PS3, I even have all the boxes to my GBA games. Never know when you might need them for resale vaule.
I feel in the future some old console boxes in good condition will be bought by some gamebconsole collectors. They maybe willing to pay some money like $5 to $20 for the box, console manuals, and boxes inside the big console box.
I can see that.
I recently searched eBay for console boxes. Someone was selling only the Super Nintendo card board box for $95.
the collector within me wants to buy it.
Always. You never know when you might need it especially if it needs to be sent back for repairs or a replacement
Knock on wood, but I never had a console go bad on me that wasn't from wear and tear.
Same. This is the first console I'm getting launch so I hope my luck with consoles continues. Hopefully I haven't just jinxed it lolKnock on wood, but I never had a console go bad on me that wasn't from wear and tear.
I think launch 360’s were the only ones that had manufacturer errors
PS3 had simliar issues but not so heavily.
I think the PS4 also had problems shortly after launch.
I remember reading blog posts about the PS4 where some PS4s were intentionally damaged by angry factory workers who felt they were being mistreated.
