Do you know of great MMO sports games on the PC?

I love playing sports games. I was inclined to play solo at first. I enjoy games like NBA 2K14 and Fight Night and Virtua Tennis alone. But then I played Fantasy Tennis on the PC. It was a MMO Sports game that let me compete with (or against) different players online.

It was a very addicting and enjoyable game. I could upgrade the stats of my character, communicate with other players, challenge them, etc. Too bad the game was discontinued.

Do you know of other great MMO sports titles?

There is a game you might be interested in. EA has recently released an online free-to-play FIFA game known as EA SPORTS FIFA World. Though I am not interested in football games, this looks like the game you are trying to find. Have a look here: http://www.easportsfifaworld.com/

Blood Bowl is the only similar game that comes to mind. It's not really a MMO, but it can be played in multiplayer by up to 16 players.
Here's a clip of TotalBiscuit playing the game. Looks fun, but the setting is fantasy based, much different than Fantasy Tennis?
