Do you like new or old technology and setting, more in anime?

So, what do you like the most?
New technology related or the old ones? For me, it depends on the anime storyline.

I prefer new technology but old animations. Something is neat about the way they imagine things like dashboards or interfaces, and of course, the mechs.

I'm fine with either, so long as it's properly done.
