I have seen some people who are more comfortable and relaxed with watching others play games. They are more spectators than active players of the game. I don't have any problems with watching others play, but I certainly prefer to play more than watch.

I much rather play than watch unless its just clips.

I want to get in the action. Watching others play can never be fun to me. I don't think it is that great for me. I want to beat my rivals while playing the game.

When you do it yourself and be more involved, it's usually better but that doesn't mean watching others play ain't cool too.

I enjoy playing games more at home.

But, I feel I rather watch people play arcade games like Arcade racing and shooting games at an arcade or Gaming PC cafe than play games because random strangers can make rude comments, and make fun or laugh at other players if they are not good at the game. Plus, I don't like spending many dollars to play games for a few minutes.

I heard there are also physical fights which can happen when someone loses a game at an internet gaming cafe.

This was very common when I was still a teenager playing games at game lounge. I almost fought one time but my friend stopped me.

If it's a game I haven't heard of I might watch clips. If it's a game I already played I watch their gameplay out of habit. However, I do like to play games by myself if I definitely plan on getting them to avoid spoilers.

Games that are insanely difficult are what I give time to watching others play in order to be well prepared to face it head on when I start it.

I mean some games on the Genesis or SNES were hard but I didn't bother watching because they aged poorly. Modern games can be hard but at least they are fair. Getting stuck I can see it, but then you realize how simple the fix is and you wish you didn't.

I feel I like to watch very difficult games to see if the game has super fast gameplay before I buy it, so I am less likely to waste my money and time because the game is too fast pace, and I am more likely to get stuck on the first few levels.

Video games reviews gets that checked out for you in most cases. You won't fall victim to such games if you make use of reviews.

That is true reviews usually warn people that a game maybe insanely difficult or require you to spend a lot of money to beat the game like some mobile games where you may spend a lot to beat more difficult levels.

Yeah, once it's a decent full review, you will have everything you need on the game. There's not going to be anything like going in blindly on the game.
