Do you miss the days of the fanless game consoles like the Snex, N64, PSX?

I always enjoyed fanless consoles since I don't have to worry about a fan being full of dust, or the fan failing. Plus, fanless consoles were also very quiet since only the CD drive made sound, or it made no sound at all like the N64, Snes, Genesis, etc which had no fans on their consoles to keep the console cool.

I do miss those days, game was simple and good and it was all about us. Now and days, it's about this other crap and just making the money.

They still need games to please, and so it is about us. And games have always been about money, what are you talking about?

The price of the Super Nintendo was $200 when it was first released in 1991, and games were around 50 dollars or more, so the prices are about 50 dollars more expensive these days for a Wii at 249.99 for the release date price, and game prices are 9.99 more expensive at 59.99 and up.

@Froggy Keep in mind there has been a huge inflation.
@DS I'm not BS'ing, YOUR BS'ing. Inflation has definitely increased the payment. $200 for the SNES would be $400-500 now. See what I'm getting at. ;P

Back then people probably had more money to spend on video games and other items, so things seems less expensive because most people have jobs which give raises sometimes, but these days it can be difficult for more people to find jobs or get a raise on their pay check since the unemployment rate seems higher so most things seem more expensive.

It would be cool if video game makers adjusted prices so poorer people can afford them more easily.

I didn't start paying until 3 or 4 years into PS1's life span.
See? Gaming started getting cheaper around the time of 2000.

@Froggy That may not be entirely true. My mom's job doesn't pay well, but I still have the extra money to pay for consoles, games, etc.
