Yes I own a mic for my PC. I use it to narrate my videos when I make screencasts on Youtube, and other types of videos.

I also find recording sound effects and funny sounds kind of fun and awesome.

I have a headset with a mic in it as well as a webcam with a built in mic..

I don't use either of them..

I do have a small microphone from a cassette recorder that works for my PC, that I once used for dictating and recording interviews.
