Do you play games on your Graphing Calculator?

I did have one for a few years but I lacked the means of getting games on it.

I think you need to get some kind of Cable to plug into the computer by USB. It would be neat if the TI-83+ graphing calculators have the ability to insert a SD Card or memory card to load games, and other programs on to it.

Nope.. I've never had a graphing calculator as I've heard that they were quite expensive.

Indeed, they are expensive at $99, but they can save a lot of time, and lead to better marks because using graph paper and a regular calculator can be very time consuming espiecally for grahing Cos, Sin, tan, cos-1. sin-1. tan-1, and quadratic equations.

When I was in school, we were urged not to have a graphing caluculator. Our teachers said that having one made things easier, and that, that would hurt us on the Regents Exams, since they were not allowed to be used. I always liked the challenge anyway. I might get one though.. just to say that I did you know?

I just used the school's graphing calculator when I took math. They can be very useful for doing Calculus, Algebra II, trigonometry questions.

They are good to use to check answers since some math books just have answers for the odd or even number questions. Only the teachers edition has all the answers. I bet the teacher just uses the questions with no answers at the back of the book to add to the exam.

teachers would not be happy about this. As kids used these calculators more for gaming then for school work.

Indeed, but it might motivate kids to finish their homework in class, so they can play games for the remaining class times. Plus, there will be less bad behavoir like "Talking loudly, disturbing the rest of the class, etc" from the kids who don't feel like doing their math or finish their math homework very quickly and have nothing to do since they can now play games on their calculator.

When I was bored in math class because I finish my homework or was bored, I would use my calc to write words upside down with numbers like Boobs(28008), Hello(0.1134)

Plus, these I found

530477351 = ISELLHOES (may not fit an all calculators)
58008 = BOOBS
37818 = BIBLE
5663 = EGGS
0.7734 = HELLO
5637 = LEGS
566377351 = ISELLEGGS
304 = HOE
30414 = HI HOE
