I'd rather without. I never minded having memory cards. I personally don't see the need for a console to have as much memory as the PS3 and Xbox 360 do. Then again, I have no intention of using them for anything beyond gaming either.
Sure it's great that they can do other things (like the stuff with movies, music, and pictures), but I have other devices for that stuff for a reason.
I'd love it if the game companies would get back to focusing on consoles that just played games and developing good games for those consoles.

Actually, once you use enough space on the PS3 or 360, you'll be happy they added that extra gigs. I probably used 20 gigs in the last 3 months. I think I only have half of my 80 gigs, but the 250 gigs is just ridiculous... they should put terabytes! lol
I just wish console makers let user have the option to save games to a regular USB flash drives or external hard drive instead of forcing users, to buy an expensive memory card, to open their PS3 to add a bigger drive, or buying a $100 60GB external drive for a 360.

The thing is, I won't be using that much space. That's why I see it as a waste.

That's why Sony should've made it with an external hard drive, like the 360. That way we can pick our amount of gigs. I'd pick 120. 80 is gonna be filled up by the end of 2010...
It would be neat if it was also possible to back up save games on the internet and share them with friends, so where ever you go you can access your game if there is internet.

I imagine that will happen with next gen systems.
