Yes, it is very handy to have a book to learn how to do new computer related tasks like computer programming, computer repair, and HTML since I don't have to have two Windows open. One for the program I am learning and the other for the tutorial website.
Plus, if I need to fix my computer which won't turn on or the internet is broken, a website would be totally useless to me since I can't go online to read how to fix something, so I usually rely on computer repair books to help me with typing command lines in MS-DOS, or Terminal for Linux.
I can also read a few pages whenever I have free time vs turning on the computer, going to the website, and reading the tutorial.
I also find it easier to track my progress by doing the quizzes and tutorials at the end of the chapter in books vs using a website which many times don't have quizzes and exercises to see how much I remember after reading the book.
