Do you prefer watching "fun" anime or "deeper" anime?

As for me, anything is fine as long as it is enjoyable to me.
What about you guys? Do you feel the same? Or do you have a preference when it comes to anime?

I am fine with both fun and deep anime as long as the plot is interesting, and the anime's animation look good.

I enjoy both, but I make sure not to watch them all in a row.
