Yes, I usually refer to eBooks as books since they are books saved to a file instead of printed on paper, and glued/binded to a book cover, but eBooks have the same charecteristics as paper books since they both have a title, text, and chapters.

Ebook readers are not as awkward to hold and carry around, plus they're cheaper and you can carry a lot at once. Only problem is they don't have new book smell.

And there's just a certain feeling you get when you're reading an actual paper book that you don't get with ebooks. It's like, somehow it still reminds you of using a tablet or reading something on the computer as opposed to cracking open that novel you started a month before but haven't really had the time to get back into.

I call it a book...

I use the word eBook when I want to get all snoody and specific, but I usually just call it a book since all ebooks I ever bought originally existed in paper form in the beginning.

I only get this when reading a tablet or computer monitor, never my Kindle. It's probably because the screens and ink are designed to look like an actual book, so you don't get that 'alien' feeling from them.

Also, yes, eBooks are books so I still call them books.

I find with higher resolution screens found on the iPad 4, and Nexus 7-10, reading on them is more natural and easier than most computer low resolution monitors and older tablets because you can't see the individual pixels and dots which make up letters for the font.

I just adjust the brightness more.

When people ask me what book I am reading, I just usually say the Title like "Harry Potter, Goosebumps, etc." even if it is a ebook, or physical book since it is not needed to say, "I'm readying Harry Potter Book."

There's actually a perfume that you can spray on your ebook reader to make it smell like a new book :P

That seems a bit excessive... hah. It's funny, I bought my sister a kindle but I never actually used it. I should check it out and see how it feels to read with it, she has a decent collection on it.

The cheap ebook readers don't feel nice at all, but if its a kindle or one with a good software, then it can really feel like you are reading a book. Granted the touch is different, but everything else is simulated really well.
