No, I do not fix very cheap and old electronics and computers since I usually just buy a new computer, and see no point in repairing a 5-10+ year old computer since sometimes the parts, time and labor costs are more expensive then just buying a new computer. Plus, I can do more like play newer games with a newer computer then a n ancient computer.

I rather put the money toward a new computer, and use the school or library computer for a few month to save cash for a new PC if I don't have the money for a new PC.

I also donated a few of my very old computers to computer recycler charity, but I got a feeling they just sell them to junk metal and plastic buyers since the computers were from the 1980s-90s, so they can't run any modern operating systems or programs, and finding parts to repair them may be hard because no one makes parts for very old computers anymore.

there are repair clinics in my town, but I don't repair them.

If you want to learn about fixing computers, networks, computer security, Microsoft training, and other PC topics now, I recommend http://www.professormesser.com/ and http://www.themobileclassroom.com/ which has tons of "free" online videos and articles on computers and technology.

Professor Messer also recommends which books are good to read to learn about computers from books.

I viewed his videos and articles, and they are the best videos about computer help which are free to watch online. If you want to buy the video files to view offline, they are not very expensive, and also come with power point slides as well related to computers.
