Yes, when I get spam in my g-mail, yahoo, and other e-mail accounts if there is a report spam feature I use it.

I also report spam I get on my blog or forum if they repeatedly spam my sites. Hopefully, their domain or webhosting company will punish them somehow by banning their account.

I think by reporting spam through your email client, it may help the anti-spam blacklist companies find where it came from and close down the spammers that are sending them, and help improve your email client's spam filters.

As long as you do this without opening them, because if you do open them, it can lead you to more email spam.

I notice some e-mail services also blocks spam e-mail addresses and move your current spam when you report spam e-mail as spam.
