I was in a bus today and a young lady who should be in her early 30's brought out her book dairy to pen down something. I was so shocked to see that because with smartphone, it's something already covered. We still have people who are old school classics.

It's just called a diary and I do see people use them and be sold at book stores.

I never had a diary because I don't have a very interesting life which is worth documenting.

I sometimes use a paper notebook to write down phone numbers, important dates like appointments, and home addresses.

I still make use of my book diary to make records at the office. There are important information that I need most times and penning it down helps me a lot.

I use to keep a diary when I was younger. I quite doing after a time when my younger brother kept getting a hold of it and reading it. No matter how good I could hide it, my brother found it and read it.

I did too when I still young. My first relationship heartbreak was all written down in it. Some of my secrets was in there.

Everything I pen down is on my smartphone notebook. It's the only diary I'm currently using. I'm not sure if I can do with the small pocket printed one again.

It's old school but I still love it. Despite using the smartphone, I still see something special about putting my pen to paper and trying to reflecting on all my thoughts.

I tend to get some satisfaction when writing in a book diary. I don't really find same satisfaction in the digital notes.

The problem I have with using the book diary is having to carry it as an extra load. I can do all that with my phone and reflect on it when I wanted.

We live in a digital world and it's so refreshing to see that people still value the simplicity of a book diary. I also use it at times.

I have lost my book dairy once and everything lad written down in it. I was so discouraged to start using another for a long time years ago but later did.
