I think it is nice to have, but not very necessary to have a mobile responsive control pane. Many admins may use a desktop pc or laptop to do maintenance like backing up a forum database file, or installing plug-ins for forums in the control panel.

And even though the panel is responsive, it might not be comfortable to perform administration tasks.

I think doing some tasks like backing up a large forum database file may not be possible on some smartphones with less storage space.
I probably won't want to admin a forum on a phone because the keyboard is not very good on phones.

mine loads just fine on phone, had to jump on once or twice during a work break to bust some spammers here.

I feel a lot of admins mainly use a keyboard and mouse and a large monitor to do admin work, and desktop and laptop computers are more affordable these days. Responsive themes for the Control Panel may not be used by many admins.

I feel a lot of admin may not spend much time in the forum control panel after they setup their forum with a desktop computer and web browser because they don't want to accidentally break their forum by making a mistake in changing a setting in the control panel. Using a smartphone may make mistakes more likely to happen because of the small keyboard and screen.
Some admin may setup their forum to automatically backup their database, and perform other maintenance tasks. Admin may mainly use the control panel to ban a spammer, and perform forum upgrades a few times a year with a desktop web browser.

Yeah and important tasks can be done using the moderator control panel as well.

I don't try to access the admin control panel from my phone. I wait until I get home and I can get on my laptop to access my acp.

Yeah. If there's something on the forum that needs to be dealt with right then....then I can see accessing the acp from my phone. If it isn't necessary to get on right then then I'll wait till I get on my laptop.
