I am sure it's all comes down to your preferences and nothing more.
So, what do you guys think? Do you like anime cosplay more?
 
They can require a bit more effort, but at times yeah.
 
Not just cooler but very interesting and do not see them or people doing it. Will stand out a mile away in a cosplay show (other than naked)
 
Unpopular opinion maybe :p But I feel like most fiction cosplay (anime/cartoons, comics/manga/books, games, shows/movies, etc) are about the same. The only difference is their genres really. Anime ones tend to be a tad more colorful, but that's not always the case.
