No, the well prepared student will get all his school supplies ahead of time. But, it kinds of freaks some kids out that summer is almost over and it is back to school in september.

I say they happen at the right time so people who want to save can do some looking around for great deals. But there a painful reminder for kids who have to go back to school which isn't me this year!

I saw on TV that the best savings for clothes, supplies, electronics, and other things for school is when it is almost time for school like 1-2 weeks before school starts.
But, I think a lot of the good stuff might get sold out before the clearance sales begin.
I mostly use my old school supplies, and stuff, so I rarely buy a lot of supplies.
