Yes, I think disc like Blu-Ray Discs will be the main way people will buy HD and 4K or higher quality video for a long time since Blu-Ray discs are cheaper then usb flash drives and hard drives because disc are made of plastic, and most people in many places in the US and Canada still have slow internet connections which are too slow to stream or download HD video without buffering.
I also like that it is easy to back up/copy discs to a computer, tablets, laptops, and burnable discs if you use Disc ripping software like DVD rippers, Blu-Ray rippers, and media rippers.
I think Redbox, and most movie rental places might not use USB since people might steal USB, and never return them while with Discs they are cheap and easy to replace since they cost a few dollars or less to make/burn, and fit inside a small envelope, or thin plastic disc box.
Redbox probably can buy movie discs for very cheap because they made a deal with Movie Studios to buy thousands to millions of movie discs for a few dollars, and share some of the earnings from rentals with the movie studios.
Maybe smaller Discs like the GameCube style mini-disc which can store a full HD movie is more likely the way to go in the future.
