No, since CDs and DVDs are cheap. You can buy 100 4.4GB DVD-R for 20-30 dollars at a store while in most cases you can only buy a 4GB-16GB flash card or USB flash drive for 30 bucks.

Nope.. I don't think it will because you can never really be sure as to when it is going to stop working..

Some of the cheaply made flash drives tend to have the metal connectors snap off if you remove it too many times.
I have CDs (Playstation 1 games) and DVDs (PS2 games and movies) which are many years old which work well like new since I take care of my CDs well by placing them in a dark, dry, and cool place.

Right now no,but in due time usb sticks will be used more. I know right now there is a test 1tb usb stick. So far all I have heard is good news about it.
USBs may be used more but the CD's and DVD's will always be used unless something better comes out to replace them >_>
Blu-Ray possibly, but Burnable Blu-ray disc are very expensive at 11 bucks for 25GB disc and Blu-ray burners cost hundreds of dollars.

Like I aid though with time things will get better and cheaper. You just gotta wait for those other companies to take a whack at things.
