Yes, but I mainly hang out at Forum Promotions, GF, my forum, and other forums with a large percentage of web savvy members. But, it seems forum members in general know more about web hosting, domain name registrar like GoDaddy, MySQL, php, html, and other web design standards compared to most Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube members.

My guest is because a lot of forum owners also are members on other forums to do post exchanges, help out fellow forumers by helping them mod their forum as well, and use other people forums for promotional purposes by pasting a link to their forum in their sig and profile, or PMing other members to join their forum.

Indeed, Twitter, and Facebook user interface is basically point and click, and typing status updates. I think Twitter and Facebook are made to be easy to use, so most non-tech savvy people can use it without needing to read a tutorial. It also does not require much skills to make a group in Facebook.
