Yes, I think if PC makers bundle better video cards there might be more PC gamers.

I notice a lot of computer companies like HP, Compaq, Lenovo, e-Machine tend to bundle slower video cards or use onboard video cards for their affordable-midend computers compared to other high end computer makers like Alienware, Dell XPS series, Cyberpower, Ibuypower, and Voodoo PC.

PC makers probably bundle slower video cards to save money, and cut cost for the consumer.

no, not really. It would cost more and chances are good it will reach more people not interested then interested. Last thing we need is a rise of computer prices.

Indeed, the rise in computer prices will kind of stink unless there could be even cheaper wages for computer factory workers then the more expensive parts will be cheaper because of cheaper labor.

I think Microsoft should bundle better 3D games like World of Warcraft, Doom 3, Counter Strike with Windows which most modern computers can play instead of Solitaire or minesweeper, more people will get into 3D gaming or at least be introduced to 3D gaming.

I know of some people who started playing casual games like solitaire, minesweeper, etc since they came with Windows.

it's hard getting companies to bundle good stuff.

Indeed, all the games most companies bundle are usually either old, or made by some crappy company which make games which look boring, or you can find better free alternatives online.

Sadly, those games cost money froggy, and I don't think they have a free version or a trial.

Indeed, but if PC companies are willing to lose a 20-50 dollars for bundling new games, but gain a few more Gamer fans then they can make back the money in the long run like if 1 month World of Warcraft came bundle with every new computer, I got a feeling WoW might get a few more gamers, and computer makers will get more purchases for their higher end computer parts like a better video card and RAM.

Indeed, Piracy has really hurt PC gaming.

But, I think if PC companies at least bundle a Mid-end ATI or Nvidia PCI-Express video card with most of their computers. People who are already into gaming or can't game because of hardware limitations might be able to install their favorite games at school, work, friends house, the library and other computers which usually come with slow on-board Intel and other generic based onboard cards.

Well I know my laptop I bought two years ago came with a mid grade graphics card.(NVIDIA 8200m g). I also know alot of desktops ranging from 750-1200 have a decent graphics card.

I know during the PS1 days, there was a lot of free demos that game with games but that quickly died out. now and days you can go online and get free versions of any game if you know where to type and look.
