Do you think if enough people flag something as spam, the message should be automatically deleted on

I think it will be a cool option if Youtube and Forums made a MOD where if enough people flag a comment as spam or it contains "curse, advertising, links, and spammy links. The questionable comment will be sent to the owners spam box, and is not visible since those "flag as spam" links take up a little bit of space in the comment section and I bet people still click on them.

If the owner finds the comment not spammy, then he can mark it as "Not spam" and it will appear on the comment section again.

It probably save a lot of time in the long term when it comes to moderating your Youtube, Forum, Social network profile, and blog if you set your comments to let anyone comment.

Plus, it is very time consuming to approve every single comment before it appears on the comment section on Bigger blogs, forums, and Youtube since most comments I get are okay only 1-2 comments are spammy and trolly on Youtube and my Blogs.

I agree it will probably be abused by people with "opposing points of view", so maybe if a MOD like this exists, there needs to be another MOD to log and ban the person who is abusing the "Delete as Spam" MOD to mark legetimate comments/replys as SPAM because of disagreement.

Banning people for abusing the "mark as spam" is also a good way of catching trolls before they can troll becuase I think people who abuse "mark as spam" MODs are more likely to troll sooner or latter when they have the Guts or can't stand that there are so many "opposing points of views" to mark as spam, so they start calling people "dumb". Plus, there'll be fewer dumb people who got a twisted definition of spam .

I always got this feeling if you abuse Youtube spam marking and reporting service by randomly marking too many legetimate comments as spam or flag/report good comments as bad then Youtube would sooner or later ban your account for abusing their spam service.
