Yes I think in the future more people will have a computer which is always plug in to their TV or built-in to their PCs since computers are best for playing back "all media files" if you install the Kazaa-Lite Codec pack which can make your computer play most of the strange media files like MKV, Ogg, divx, flv, etc which DVD players, game consoles, and other devices don't support, or have a difficult time playing compared to a computer or laptop which has the "Kazaa lite codec pack" installed.
Why would you want a smaller screen for watching movies?
This reminds me Google already came out with Google TV, but I'm not sure if it supports all the many file formats which the "Kazaa Lite Codec" Pack can play which is almost every video and music file format people use.
