Well if all sighs point to cancellation (bad ratings, nobody likes the show, lack of funds, etc), then I think it's ok to cancel a show in the middle of a season. I mean, who would care at that point?
Sometimes they'll do those double episodes and shift it to a later timeslot to try and churn them out, but eh... I guess I wouldn't be annoyed unless if for some reason I was like, 1 in a million that actually enjoyed the show. But I guess that's what the Internet/DVD retailers are for.
I agree. If you are going to cancel a show, as least cancel it when you can end the show properly and not cancel it in the middle of the season when there are so many questions hanging in the air.
That's a good suggestion. At the very least, release it to the internet so that the people that are fans of the show can watch the remaining episodes and get their ending. At least let people watch it on Youtube or something like that.
