Do you think most active members on many forums also have websites, blogs, and forums?

In many cases, I notice most active members on my forum also have websites, blogs, and forums or work for a forum as a mod or admin.

I think the main reason that many people post on forums is because using the sig for inserting your forums link and banner is a great way of getting traffic to your site, and it can increase your rankings on search engine result pages.

If you use Postloop, post exchanges, or paid posting, most of the other members also own forums.

I think only on really popular forums, will you find members not having their own site.

I know for one thing certain categories of forums like Forum Promotion, Post Exchange, Forum admin, Forum Graphics, Forum mod related forums most of the people who join are forum owners and co-owners in my experience.

Most of my members do have their own forum/site , but my most active ones (well, my staff) don't.
