No, I personally don't watch videos of people saying how bored, sick, and mad they are in front of a camera. It is weird that Youtube does not moderate their Youtube partners better since getting paid through video, and text, & banner ads about talking about their dull day is dumb.

If someone made a original movie, music video, educational video, short sitcom, or a video with more entertainment value online then Yes I agree they should get payed.

I read online that they only get $2.5 to $5 per 1000 video views, and some more money when people click on a ad link or banner. A youtube partner will make $.01 per channel view.

It is not that great. But, if they get 100,000+ views which is very hard they can maybe pay their electricity bills to keep their PC running.

I agree with you. But, the saddest part is most of the people who use these kind of sites can't sing, dance, act, or have actual talent unlike some people who use American Idol, So you think you can Dance, X factor, etc to try to jump start their career. They just talk in front of the Camera and qoute, copy other sources most of the time. Plus, act dumb.

In my opinion videos that have little or no point shouldn't get credited, because it may not be good business wise, and for a video to generate good revenue, it first has to have good quality and a good audience.

That is because you don't necessarily have to be talented to be famous.. you just need a niche.

Just look at what passes for entertainment nowadays. A better example is the adult entertainment industry. You don't have to be talented, or even attractive.. you just need to have a nice body, be it natural, or not, and be known for something.

I agree, the entertainment industry is full of people who fit into a certain niche like "Mini me, and Gary Coleman" they are short and people find them funny.

The adult entertainment industry is similiar to a freak show at a circus these days.
