Indeed, many people use the internet use the internet as an opportunity to "make something of their lives" like starting a website, blog, forum while others just use it for spreading hater comments directed at people who use the internet to "make something" which is kind of sad seeing someone in their 20s-30+ spending so much time posting negatives comments when they can use the net to share their experiences with others.
I say yes, since America's got talent gives a portion of their show to the people of youtube who shows off their talent.
