Do you think VOIP will someday be in more homes then regular phones?

Yes, since VOIP service is generally cheaper then regular phone lines, but the problem with VOIP like vonage is it relies on your broadband, so if your internet provider or modem is disconnected you lose phone service. Plus, if there is a power outage and you don't have power backup then your phone also does not work unlike a standard phone that uses the phone line's electricity in most cases.

I think Voip phones make a good second phone line compared to cell phones which can overcharge you a lot if you go over your plan.
