Do you think web browsers on game consoles will be less important in the future?

Possibly, I think game console web browsers will be less important or used in the future when most people own phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices with better browsers and a keyboard which they can use to surf the web instead of using a controller.

There are also apps which can better display text, and information from the internet then a web browser.

yes, if they never get as good as they are on laptops and PCs.
