Do you think wide/long websites without margins are hard to read?

Yes, I find it difficult to read websites which do not have a left or right margin, so the text just seem to go all the way to the edges of the monitor.

I like to read websites which have a small 1-2 inch margin of white space on both the left and right side of the website.

http://mattcutts.com/ site does not have a margin on both left or right sides. The text goes all the way from the left to the right without a margin/blank space on both Left and Right sides.

Yes it is, and while I don't mind scrolling up and down to read a sites' content, I will most definitely leave a site if I have to do so horizontally.

yeah. those sites are creepy. it takes longer to read the page and it makes my eyes all tired and dizzy. +__+ use those margins, people.

umm i really agree with you. nothing is more irritating than copying the site's content to notepad in order to "fix" it for reading. lol that's what i always do with those horizontal monsters.
