Telsa electric fully self driving cars is getting a lot of attention recently ever since Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter. He's been equally promoting his company's new tech car on the platform.

It's a luxury car that's not meant for everyone because it's very expensive. But if you can afford to buy it car, would you trust to use its self driving feature?

Nope, maybe when I'm too old to drive will I ever get into one.

I don't fully trust self-driving cars. But, If self-driving is proven to be very safe, I may ride in a self-driving car.

I don’t trust them. Too much can go wrong with this kind of technology. When I was younger, I had always wished we had these types of cars. I thought of all the time people would save. But now that technology IS advancing, it doesn’t seem as good now. There’s too many things that can go wrong. I rather drive myself. Then if I get in an accident, it’s human error, not computer error.

Exactly, imagine going to court over a computer error that caused an accident. It's a big joke.

Probably if the computer is as smart as UK's Eurofighter Typhoon Fighter Plane, nicknamed "Nagging Nora" lol. Unlike "Bitchin' Betty" you can talk to Nora and Nora will respond with a calm and soothing female voice. Nora is currently the most advanced Onboard Fighter Plane Computer.

This might be the only way I'd get into a car.

I was thinking I'd never get into one because there would be too big a risk of someone hacking your car and doing who knows what while you sit there helpless. Now, if I was an elderly person and I had gotten to the point where I can't drive myself anywhere then I might consider it. If I wanted to go somewhere, I could have the self driving car take me there. Plus, if I'm old then I may not be too upset about dying because I got to live a good long life by this point.

The technology behind those fighting jets are unbelievable. I'm not sure if they would invest that much in techs used for personal use.

Indeed. And UK injected another £2.35 billion into the Typhoon for further tech upgrades not too long ago.

However despite all Typhoon tech enhancements it has one major drawback, its range, it's not Supercarrier Capable, it needs a runway on ground for take off and landing. Unlike US' F - 35 that is Supercarrier Capable and VTOL (Vertical Take Off And Landing) capable.

True, but I really think we need to redo all of our roads to have self-driving cars happen, we be talking trillions of dollars to make it happen.

I feel many people including myself may not use self-driving car services because they rather give money to a human driver like a bus driver, taxi driver, and train conductor than a self-driving taxi service.

Some people may enjoy talking to a taxi driver about topics like local news, tourist attractions, and cars, or just sitting in a car with another person instead of sitting in an empty self-driving car.

Our government are more built on war than on other projects. They are willing to throw in any amount just for armaments and upgrades on it.

2pac once said "they have money for wars and none to feed the people". You can bet he didn't make a mistake.

Don’t think they are legal in UK roads at the moment anyway. Think this sort of thing relies as much on the infrastructure as it does on the cars actual technology and looking around at UK roads I could see them been a problem

I'm very sure that sooner or later, they are going to be just about everywhere.
