No, I generally do not turn off comments on social networking posts which allow me to turn off comments because not many people comments on my posts, and some comments can be useful at times.
No, I have never had the need to turn off comments on my posts to be honest, what I do post usually only gets likes and sometimes comments but the comments are never bad that I feel the need to prevent them.
I've never turned off comments on social network posts because I want to interact with people. That's mostly why I make the posts in the first place. There are exceptions, of course.
