Yes, I turn off my computer when I am not using it.

I mostly leave it on for a brief moment when I step away, other then that I turn my PC off just to keep it safe and secure.

I figured by doing that, it saves energy and prevent it from being affected by power surges, lightning strikes, among those things.

I use to leave it on - but the last full year I been looking after it loads more.
It's environment friendly as well

I also think turning your computer off makes it less likely to be hacked since no one can access the computer when it is off unless they turn it back on again.
