Do you use social networks for finding News and Events?

Yes, YouTube has a lot of good channels dedicated to independent news and media like http://www.youtube.com/user/TheYoungTurks/featured and more.

Plus, it is more convenient just following news channels on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and other social networks.

Friends and other people I know on social networks also post and like news articles on Facebook, Twitter, etc, so it is easy to know what is going on in the world.

Social bookmarking site like Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit also has a lot of news which people voted for to be on the front page.

I do sometimes especially as alot of my friends and family tend to post up links or view articles online that then show up on my news feed as they had read them but I do still use news websites such as Sky News and the such alot aswell.
