Do you watch a long anime more than once?

I'll watch some ep 49 or 52 animes again, anything big as naruto, never again.

I used to watch anime many times because my local TV station showed re-runs of anime, so I sometimes end up watching them more than once. The internet was slower in the past, so I only watch anime on TV because I did not have a lot of money to buy full DVD anime TV series box sets which can be expensive to buy.

I see.
I suppose that's really true. I don't think streaming was even a choice, back then

TV channels airing anime and DVD anime box sets were the main ways people watch anime in the past before faster internet speeds were more affordable.

I think most people used internet which was slower than 5 Megabit per second internet until 2004 or later, and downloading anime from Bittorrent and direct download from websites like Amazon and iTunes were slow and unreliable for files which are bigger in size like 700 MB. The internet was not fast back in the past.

Yeah I agree.
Despite what others may believe, I believe the average internet speed is not even 5 Mbps in my country.

I don’t miss the early days of anime streaming. It took ages to buffer, so you had to pre-load the episode(s). It was pretty bad on YouTube, not only was there buffering, they also had to split the episodes into multiple parts because of the upload limit.

That splitting stuff used to drive me crazy. Not to mention that sometimes you have to watch a little more of the previous part. I don't like to watch stuff like that
