It would be cool if games have an online high performance gaming mode which uses the collective processing power of many high end CPU, and large amount of RAM from multiple or a cluster of super computer web servers to run computer games off of, and stream them back to your home computer like how cloud computing apps work which run games, software, apps, movies off of a web server like http://onlive.com , but when you are not on the internet or your internet is slow/unreliable you can still play the computer game in regular quality mode if your PC is not fast enough for the latest HD graphics.

But, on the other hand, Super computers which are connected to the internet might be better used for predicting the weather, doing science experiments, etc rather then making computer games run faster.

cloud computing makes sense, but the offline function will make the game way too vulnerable to hackers/cheaters.
Many online games have hard enough time fending off the hackers as is.

Cloud computing is mostly subscription based, so it is less likely to suffer from Piracy as much like offline PC gaming where people use key generators and hacks to play pirated games offline.

Oh, I mean hacking/cheating In-game. It is just so annoying when you meet hackers while playing an online game :(
