Does anybody actually find the humor style of modern Jump series to be funny?

Like the standard fool for a main character and how that guy would be a genius when it comes to fighting.
Do you find them funny, even now?

dub was kind of catching up at the time, and then all the video game fillers. Still hard to believe the creator went back to the series.
