Does your hosting company do daily backups?

Does your hosting company do daily backups of your website and can provide you a recent backup in case anything bad (such as hacking) happens? Or are you responsible to do your own backups from the cPanel?

Most normally don't, weekly and monthly is the standard.

I think my hosting company does weekly or monthly updates, but sadly it lost a few days worth of posts because of failing to backup the forum database on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, they can't show the hosting companies that are protected by CloudFlare or other similar services designed to anonymize a company's identity.
