Do you think if let's players did gameplay videos of older games (like, games from the early 2000s) people would be interested to watch them? I think it would be cool to see let's players make videos of games from our childhood. What is your opinion?

I'm not sure about an exact date but if you have a decent number follower-base, I'm pretty sure they'd watch no matter which game you choose to stream. If you have no subscribers and expect people to magically watch your stream with no promotion work put into it, then we all know how that'll turn out.

I think people watch the Let's Play games more for the person than the actual game. So all that it matters is the person.

lol, I don't make let's play videos, but I was just wondering why I've never seen any videos for classic games from the early 2000s, such as Commandos, Black & White, Desperados, the Warlords Battlecry series etc.

There are some, you just tend to have to search the actual game. The people who tend to do them aren't the big YouTuber's - who focus on the big audience games, but there are a lot of smaller ones who do gameplays of them.

I agree with this, I personaly dont think watching someone play a video game for hours upon hours is fun, the comentary makes all the difference, Ive seen people playing huge games like battlefield or COD or whatever and not getting much views and ive seen people playing games like banjo kazooie (i think i spelled that wrong) and getting 100s of thousands of views because their comentary was funny.

I really don´t think the game matters at all, Probably the only people I have spent time watching have played horrible games ( on purpose). I think there could be a retro market, especially if you play older version of games that are about to receive an upgrade. For instance, Civilization is about to release a new version, so maybe some streaming of older version might be interesting.
