For those that never heard of it, Don't Starve is an action-adventure game where players have to use items and materials around them to create tools and survive in a harsh world. The survival game that was released on PC more than a year ago will be hosting a new feature, and no meager one. Don't Starve will effectively receive a multiplayer mode called Don't Starve Together this summer. Developers tell us more about this important addition:
"Over the past few months, we’ve quietly smuggled in some new people onto our team who immediately said, 'Heck yeah, this can be a thing!' and actually threw together a proof of concept. After a couple months and an office-wide session of multiplayer Don’t Starve, we were convinced it was worth exploring and bringing it to our community."
Accessible from 2 to 4 players, this new adventure will be available for free for all owners of the game, although only the PC version will initially have this feature. Note, however, that the price of the game will increase a few euros following the addition of the multiplayer.
