It's no secret that Dragon Age: Origins, BioWare's upcoming RPG, has been heavily anticipated. When it's released in November, the game will take on PCs and consoles with its epic adventure set in the lands of Ferelden, which is plagued by an infestation of Darkspawn. But if you can't wait till then to check out the title, BioWare and EA may have a solution for you. On the BioWare blog, EA 2D producer Ethan Levy announced Dragon Age Journeys, a 2D flash adventure set in the world of Dragon Age that will provide players with a taste of the adventure to come in the full game.
Set in the underground dwarven city of Orzammar, Dragon Age Journeys introduces the dwarves continual struggle against the Darkspawn menace that threatens to take over the world, and will provide in-game achievements, loot and large battles. Designed as a three chapter experience, it is currently unknown whether this 2D flash game will introduce any characters from the game, if you'll be able to group together with other 2D players, or if story elements from these chapters will mirror those of the RPG. Dragon Age Journeys is scheduled to come out sometime in October.
