Read from gematsu, The anime will air on October 3 in Japan at 9:30 a.m. JST weekly on TV Tokyo Network, Square Enix announced.

The opening theme song, “Ikiru wo Suru,” is sung by Japanese rock band Macaroni Enpitsu.

I don't know about the manga but read some comments mentioning a sad story or stuff like that.

I saw Episode 2 Dai and Princess Leona. fights are pretty good. a fun watch. predictable story though and the switch from hand drawn animation to cel shaded 3d cg animation during fights is be a bit jarring.
