Dragonball Trailer to Debut in October

The ComingSoon.net film news website reports that 20th Century Fox will attach the first trailer for the live-action Dragonball film to its Max Payne film, which will open on October 17. James Wong (Final Destination, X-Files television series, The One) is directing this adaptation of Akira Toriyama's Dragonball fighting manga. The cast includes Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds, The Invisible, Lost television series), Emmy Rossum (film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, The Day After Tomorrow), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Spike, Smallville's Brainiac), and Chow Yun-Fat (A Better Tomorrow, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End). The film will open on April 10, 2009.
