Saw this last night on toonami, reminds me a lot of odin sphere. Anyone here play this game? Is it as good as it looks?

I have the game on PS3 and it's a pretty good game. It's not a perfect game at all and there tends to be a lot of repetition. (So if you don't like repeating things then this might not be the game for you. Since you'll be going the same basic 9 levels, each with 2 routes at first, a lot.)

5 of the 6 character classes play completely differently (the Sorceress and Wizard play fairly similarly). And depending on how you  use your skill points (gained by levelling up and completing quests) you can have a drastically different character even if you play the exact same character multiple times.

Bosses are tough but fair. They tend to telegraph their moves so you can know to dodge. 

You can get help from AI allies (by rescuing bones from the levels and then using money to revive them at the church). And that's necessary if you're playing Solo (on Vita/PS3) or Co-op (PS3) before you unlock online play. (You unlock online play a few hours in...)

I don't mind repetition as long as the battles are good and exciting.
