DS Wi-Fi on 3DS Help?

I recently moved away from home, where I used to connect to a random, wireless network. Generously, my close neighbours let me use their router.

Connecting with my 3DS, is fine, but whenever I try to connect with DS Wireless Connection, it doesn't support the network type. We've tried changing the network type to WEP online, but that option was disabled. I can play 3DS games over Wi-Fi, but not DS games.

I would like to play some freakin' Pokemon Black 2 over Wi-Fi, but I can't...

What should I do? :I

i got the same problem, I can connect my 3DS games but not by DS games, same here I want to connect my B/W2 when I get it this friday but I won't be able to experience the best on Pokemon if I can't fix my router. I could connect my old DS and play DS games on wifi but when I tried on 3DS it wouldn't let me, i've had the same router for some years now. It could just be that it can't support DS connections on your 3DS, thats what it tells me but when I had my DS it connected fine... Sorry couldn't help, I'll try and see if I can find any solutions for you and me and any other person experiencing this problem.

well it happened to me once but it ended up that my wi-fi was offline
