Namco Bandai today announced that the next game in their Dynasty Warriors Gundam series, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn, is coming to PS3.
The game is being developed by series regular Tecmo Koei and will be available as a digital release through the PlayStation store.
Set in the Gundam Universal Century timeline, which is the primary timeline in the Gundam universe, "Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn will allow players to control massive Mobile Armor units for the first time in the series."
Eight of the 17 total Gundam animated series take place in the Universal Century timeline, but the announcement promises players can "engage in battles across the Gundam series with the largest roster of Mobile Suits seen in the series so far," along with "sequences with the largest number of missions ever, spanning the entire Gundam series including Mobile Suit Gundam SEED."
Players will also be able to select their favorite Mobile Suit and "band together for intense split-screen gameplay or online co-op multiplayer action."
The game will be available summer 2014.
