Well another E3 is done for another year, usually I list the date for next year but that is up in the air currently. Apparently they have some little spat with the city over assurances that the show will run efficiently during next year's construction of the Farmers Field stadium.

I'm sure there will be a E3 next year and as always I and GF will bring you all the news there is in this great forum of ours. now some stats of E3 2012:

The expo had 45,700 industry personnel in attendance for the 2012 show. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the trade organization that puts on the annual mega show, estimated E3 generated 30,000 total hotel room bookings and nearly $40 million in revenue for the city.

Hopefully next year will be better. Till then gamers!

They better come to some sort of agreement with the city. Losing 40 million in revenue is nothing to sneeze at. There are plenty of other cities and convention centers that will gladly take E3 or any other gaming venue for that matter.

Well, I'll be hoping that E3 decides to pick up and go to New York! That way I'll have a reasonable chance of going. I can get to New York with the greatest of ease and it would be a nice change. They could either do it at the brand new Barclay's Center or Madison Square Garden, it would be great.

Surely, they won't have much trouble finding another venus.

E3 attracts a lot of people and is great publicity for any city. I don't see it slipping out of their hands, anytime soon. Spat or no spat.

I know that you are joking, but it wouldn't be that bad if they did go to a city that they could practically transform into E3 World for some of the games. Not that they couldn't do it in Los Angeles, but even more than the booths, if they had some live action activities would be pretty interesting. Sort of how Star Wars had that performance to announce, I think what became Star Wars Kinect.

If you were able to be in Halo for a five minute roleplay or Aiden Pierce hacking the city of Chicago, that would be fun. They wouldn't be able to do that in the NOKIA Theater or Madison Square Garden.
