E3 vs. Gamescom

So, I stumbled upon this article that compares E3 to Gamescom: http://videogamewriters.com/gamescom-important-e3-will-soon-73915

In your opinion, which of the two is more important and which one would you rather take part in, if you could only choose one?

E3 for me, it always seems to have a greater buzz around it. From what I can tell, E3 tends to be new game announcements and Gamescom then builds up from the new announcements and shows progress with games and such.

E3 has higher ratings and allot more to offer, E3 is big around here

Let me put it this way, when I first started covering news, I always made special boards related to the big gaming events to post all related news in, as the years went on, only E3 needs special boards now.

Now that you've mentioned it, I've never really gave enough thought to why GamingForce never covered Gamescom.
