Other EA confirms that the new Skate game will be a free-to-play, live-service game with microtransactions

Skate looks like a fun skateboarding game with nice looking levels with a lot of skateboarding tricks to do. I like that it is free to play, so more people can play the game.
 
Not sure how fans of the series will feel because it's going to be a mess with microtransactions. But this is one of those games that I would love to try but don't want to pay for so it's the perfect situation.
 
I agree with the Skate game being free part. I mean if it's just what it is without tricks or cheats unless you pay I'd also wonder though how it would sustain itself. They must have something to set them apart to keep people playing. Level creation to compete with Tony Hawk or competitions I guess and cosmetics for the active buyers. On another note, I'm hyped for more Metal Gear Solid availability so my bro who played Snake in Smash can try it out or watch me play.
