So I recently found this on the internetz, a few days after buying a rubik's cube.
http://granades.com/2007/11/02/rubiks-companion-cube/

I was elated, and so I turned my printer, got a knife, and got to work.
I'm pretty happy with my results , and took some pictures like the ones on the bottom of the website. And if you do what I did and just used regular paper, and THEN laminate it, it doesn't cost much at all.
Have fun with your cube.(Should you choose to make one)

Meh... too much work but I love the idea.
